The 5th AET Symposium on ACSM and Digital Manufacturing

The 5th AET Symposium on ACSM and Digital Manufacturing (AETS2023) was successfully held from 30 Aug to 1 Sep 2023 at the Institute for Computer Science and Control (SZTAKI), Budapest, Hungary. Over 100 participants around the world attended this symposium organised by Prof. József Váncza from SZTAKI and his team.

The delegates attended the astonishing hardware history exhibition, Innovation and Demonstration Space and SmartFactory at SZTAKI before a nice welcome reception on 30 August. Following two warm welcome speeches from the Director of SZTAKI, Prof. László Monostori and the President of the AET, Prof. Fengzhou Fang, 10 fascinating keynotes and invited talks and 38 oral and poser presentations were delivered on the conference from various perspectives to address the latest progress on cutting-edge research and applications in ACSM and digital manufacturing technologies. A panel discussion on future AI, Digital Manufacturing an ACSM research, chaired by Prof. Paul Shore, CEO of Loxham Precision made a perfect landing of academic discussions of the day. The conference banquette were taken place on an amazing restaurant boat Primus touring over the Danube which offered the best of Budapest at night. On 1st Sep the delegates visited Bosch’s inspiring Industry 4.0 showroom within industrial Innovation Centre, CU.BE Budapest hosted by Dr István Ács, Managing Director of Bosch Rexroth and many Bosch colleagues. AET received numerous positive feedbacks from participants during and after the Symposium on the high quality of the presentations and academic discussions.

The 6th AET Symposium on ACSM and Digital Manufacturing (AETS2025) will be held from 16 September to 19 September 2025 in Paris, France. More information will be available on AET website.
