Winner of the 2019 High Research Impact Paper Award

At the General Assembly of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society in Guangzhou during November 10 to 11, 2019, Professor Bi Zhang, a Fellow of AET, won the 2019 High Research Impact Paper Award from the "Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering (CJME)" together with his team members Mr. Yongtao Li, and Professor Qian Bai. Professor Zhang was also given an opportunity to make a presentation at the General Assembly based on his award-winning paper entitled “Defect Formation Mechanisms in Selective Laser Melting: A Review” to an audience of over 200 people on-site and more at the remote sites through the internet.
